Created at ThoughtMatter in partnership with the NYCxDESIGN Festival, Who Is NYC For? was an exhibit of original works, aiming to shed light on who in our city really benefits from decisions made by the powers that be.

Showcased here are several assets that were created for the event. The visual system was designed to build tension through the way the typefaces and layouts mirror the architecture of the city itself. For the animation style, I took inspiration from the feeling of watching a passing subway and the organized chaos of the city itself.
